week two

Hello Everybody,
This past week I began helping Joe Goforth on a “rush job”. We had a three day seminar that was shot before the beginning of this semester with dual cameras. About 25hrs of video for each camera. We broke this down into three main parts Day 1, Day 2, Day 3. Then these we divided each of these into individual parts, based on the topic and the speaker.
I was assigned Day One which Joe had a good start on. My first step was to select the camera views, cut out unnecessary footage and then clean up the audio. After this I created the titles. The next step was to convert the final sequences to the proper formats for the web and DVD. I finished up by creating the labels to be printed on the DVDs.
They’re keeping me busy and I’m learning a lot.
